Along with the Bullring it forms a playful set of special features in the Spanish popular architecture. With its Elizabethan style it is dedicated to the actor Carlos Latorre who was born in Toro. Plays and concerts are performed in its building. The theatre has capacity for about 400 people, it is ultra semicircular and it has a triple gallery.
