Cheese of Toro
The chesses of Toro are registered the designation of origin of Cheeses Of Zamora. To have this title the cheese must gather special characteristics and must meet the standards of the production, preparation, maturation and conservation required by the rules of procedure.
They are special and only made with milk of herds selected for their quality and hygiene. Methods of processing and maturing are still traditional for centuries: raw milk, natural rennet and salt. Toro´s sheep cheeses are awarded year after year with international awards of cheeses and gastronomy. Gallery
