Carnaval

La espectacularidad de muchos de los disfraces en solitario, de los grupos y charangas, junto con la tradición ancestral hacen que Toro siga siendo un referente en la provincia en lo que al Carnaval se refiere. La fiesta declarada de interés turístico regional congrega en la ciudad a miles de personas que esperan las cabalgatas que se celebran recorriendo la mayoría del casco histórico de la ciudad. Concursos de disfraces, charangas, pasacalles, verbenas y decenas de actividades en la semana de carnaval, marcan otro de los momentos álgidos de la ciudad y su alfoz.

Exposition Ages of Man, Toro, 2016

There are six sections that constitute the "Aqua" Exposition in the Collegiate Church of Toro and in the Santo Sepulcro Church. With the water as a guiding theme of the life and the theology, "The Ages of Man" Exhibition has 137 pieces of all the dioceses of Castilla y León and Portugal and 43 from Zamora. The official opening ceremony of the art and historical expositions is in  2016.
